Tensas, is a Colorado-based singer-songwriter renowned for blending his own style of Roots-Rock with dark Folk, Punk, and Blues and more into an electrifying show. When not performing with his band, Tensas & the Mourners, he takes the stage Solo-electric, delivering equally powerful solo performances across the country. His voice and style, marked by raw emotion, dynamic energy and lively stage antics, helps make him a standout songwriter and performer in modern roots music.

His work garnered critical acclaim early on during the pandemic, with The Gazette, a Pulitzer Prize-winning news publication, naming his songs, The Sickness and Lovely Bones, as "Anthems of 2020 and all that it brought." His first full length, self-recorded band album, Let the River Speak, made KGNU Radio's Top 30 Charts across their Colorado stations in 2023. Tensas was also featured on the cover of CS Independent Magazine in 2021, and he's performed live on a Southern Colorado morning TV show multiple times the last 2 years, which all has helped solidify his presence throughout the Rockies and beyond.
