Tensas is a Colorado-based singer-songwriter renowned for his electrifying blend of roots-rock, dark folk, punk, and blues. Whether fronting his band, Tensas & the Mourners, or performing solo-electric, Tensas delivers raw emotion, dynamic energy, and lively stage presence that's been compared to Tom Waits and Gogol Bordello, making him a standout performer in modern roots music.

His work garnered critical acclaim during the pandemic, with The Gazette naming his songs "The Sickness" and "Lovely Bones" as "Anthems of 2020 and all that it brought." His self-recorded full-length band album, Let the River Speak, reached KGNU Radio's Top 30 Charts across Colorado stations in 2023.
