Tensas & The Mourners are a Roots-Rock band from Colorado that ignite folk, punk, blues, and garage rock into a raw, electrified sound. Fronted by Tensas (vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin) and backed by Desha (drums, trumpet, piano, bass, vocals), the duo delivers unpredictable shows full of energy, storytelling, and instrument swaps.

They also make a point to feature guest musicians when possible, adding fresh energy and variety to each performance. Tensas occasionally performs solo as well, bringing the band’s songs into intimate settings while continuing to promote the full project’s music and merch.
